Discover your Profile Lines
This is an introduction to the Profile Lines to help you get started if you’re new to Human Design. Your Profile Lines describe your personality traits and how you share your gifts.
There are 6 different profile lines but you’ll see the Profile on your chart is a combination of two lines. It will look like a fraction eg. 1/3 or 6/2. There are 12 different profile combinations.
The first number in your Profile often describes the personality traits you’re most aware of. The second number is often what you do without realising it.

Line 1: The Investigator
Line 1 people seek to learn and understand. You thoroughly investigate and research so you can create a solid foundation of knowledge before you take action. This helps you feel safe that you know what you’re doing. It also makes you an authority in your area of expertise and other people will seek this from you.
How your energy type influences this line
Manifesting Generator: You learn fast which means you don’t need perfect research. All you need is enough knowledge to take the next step when your gut says yes.
Generator: You build deep mastery in your chosen field. Follow what lights you up and learn it inside out.
Manifestor: You research quickly when you’re in flow. This means you can act on your ideas and inspiration.
Projector: You can see the most efficient way to investigate and gather the knowledge to create a solid foundation. This gives you insights for guiding other people.
Reflector: You learn slowly and deeply. Give yourself time to sense which topics or tools feel right for you.
Line 2: The Natural
Line 2 people have natural gifts and talents. You often don’t notice what they are because they feel too easy to be anything special. Other people see your talents so you need to take notice of what people say you’re good at. You also need alone time to do your thing. This is what re-charges your energy and allows your gifts to shine.

Manifesting Generator: You have talents in many different areas. Listen to what people say your gifts are and allow yourself to combine them in interesting ways.
Generator: You’re naturally good at those things you enjoy. Do what feels fulfilling to connect with your gifts.
Manifestor: Your natural gifts spark ideas and initiate momentum. Trust your creative flow to guide you.
Projector: You can guide people in the things you have a talent for. You might not realise what they are so take note of what people ask you for guidance on.
Reflector: Your gift is the type of natural wisdom you are here to sense and share. Notice which insights naturally come to you and what people say you help them to know.
Line 3: The Experimenter
Line 3 people learn by doing. You need to experiment and test things out to see what works and what doesn’t. People trust you because you share from a place of lived experience not theory. In business, this helps you share relatable stories in your content.

Manifesting Generator: You use fast trial-and-error. You test things and quickly change direction when things don’t work.
Generator: You test and experiment with things you enjoy until you get them right.
Manifestor: Your experiments can often lead to creative ideas or inspire new paths for other people.
Projector: Your experiments help you build trust so you can guide from your lived experience.
Reflector: Your experiments help you sense what works for your environment and community.
Line 4: The Connector
Line 4 people thrive on building genuine relationships with people and often create communities or networks of like-minded people. Your opportunities usually come from within these networks because people trust you and feel connected to you.

Manifesting Generator: Your inspirational energy attracts people easily and helps you build a community of like-minded people.
Generator: You work towards building a loyal community or network.
Manifestor: You initiate the connections that feel good for you and inspire your circle of people.
Projector: You build deep relationships with people who can see your value.
Reflector: The health of your community impacts you. You choose to surround yourself with people who have the right energy for you.
Line 5: The Solutionist
Line 5 people are great at solving problems and creating practical solutions that help other people. You have a strong desire to help people so you can find yourself becoming the go-to solution finder for everyone around you. It’s important to only choose to fix things when they feel aligned for you. Clear boundaries are essential for Line 5 people.

Manifesting Generator: You solve problems quickly and find creative solutions.
Generator: You solve problems through steady, reliable work.
Manifestor: You inspire solutions that lead people where they need to go.
Projector: You solve problems by seeing the solutions that other people can’t see for themselves.
Reflector: You bring a wise perspective and awareness to solving problems by sensing what people need.
Line 6: The Role Model
Line 6 people are here to mentor and lead other people through wisdom gained by life experience. Up until age 50, you are learning and growing through all of your experiences. At 50 you are ready to step into your full potential as an authentic role model. Your role is to show what it means to move through life exactly as you are. You don’t need to be like anyone else. In business, you work best when you share your own lived wisdom with the people you are here to help.

Manifesting Generator: You are constantly evolving and creating by your own unique path. You use the wisdom you gain to inspire other people to be authentic.
Generator: You consistently learn through experience and gather wisdom to become a dependable mentor in the area that fulfills you.
Manifestor: You use your authentic wisdom to show people how to follow their own spark of inspiration.
Projector: You guide from a place of lived wisdom and authenticity.
Reflector: You role-model what it means to gain wisdom from your experiences and reflect what people need to learn from their own lives.
